Effect of foliar fertilizers on the growth and development of American ginseng (Panax quinquefolium L.) in consecutive years of vegetation

In a three year experiment located on the sandy loam the effect of foliar fertilizers Mikrosol U and Ekolist, on the growth and development of American ginseng (Panax quinquefolium L.) was compared. Plants from the plots with foliar fertilization were characterized by favorable quality parameters. Mikrosol U positively influenced fresh weight, air dry root matter, and final plant height. However, ginseng obtained from the plots where Ekolist was used produced the highest yield of the above ground parts and was characterized by the highest plant density.

Efekty dolistnego dokarmiania roślin żen-szenia amerykańskiego (Panax quinquefolium L.) w trzech kolejnych latach wegetacji

W trzyletnim doświadczeniu polowym zlokalizowanym na glebie piasz¬czystej badano wpływ dokarmiania dolistnego 1% roztworem Mikrosolu U oraz Ekolistu na wzrost i rozwój żeń-szenia amerykańskiego (Panax quinquefolium L.). Rośliny pochodzące z poletek, na których zastosowano nawożenie dolistne charakteryzowały się korzystniejszymi parametrami jakościowymi. Mikrosol U wpłynął dodatnio na świeżą i powietrznie suchą masę korzeni oraz na końcową wysokość roślin. Rośliny dokarmiane Ekolistem odznaczały się natomiast największą obsadą na jed¬nostce powierzchni oraz największym plonem masy części nadziemnej.
