The aim of the research was to qualify the degree to which pre-sowing laser stimulation, used in seeds, has an influence on sowing value and early development phases in different forms of corn, one of the most valuable cultivated plants. As a result of the conducted experiment, different reaction of tested hybrid forms of corn on pre-sowing laser stimulation was observed. To sum up, the laser irradiation applied may be a factor increasing the sowing value and accelerating early development phases in selected forms of corn.

Celem podjętych badań było określenie, w jakim stopniu zastosowanie przedsiewnej stymulacji nasion światłem lasera wpływa na wartość siewną i wczesne fazy rozwojowe różnych form kukurydzy. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań zaobserwowano zróżnicowaną reakcję badanych form mieszańcowych kukurydzy na przedsiewną stymulację laserową nasion. Zastosowanie promieniowania laserowego może być jednym z czynników podwyższających wartość siewną i przyspieszającą wczesne fazy rozwojowe wybranych form kukurydzy.
