Vascular flora of the Karaśne Lake in the Poleski National Park

ABSTRACT
Characteristic of vascular flora or the Karaśne Lake and surrounding transitional peat bag is presented in the paper. Presence of 142 species was noted in the studied area. Among them there are taxa rare and threatened in Poland and in the region (eg. Salix lapponum, S. myrtilloides, Betula humilis, Pedicularis sceptrum-carolinum, Liparis loeselii). Presence of 41 boreal species is especially noteworthy. Occurrence of only two anthropophytes testifies to a high naturalness of the studied area.

Praca przedstawia charakterystykę flory naczyniowej Jeziora Karaśnego i otaczającego go torfowiska przejściowego. W wyniku badań stwierdzono występowanie 142 gatunków. Wśród nich znajdują się taksony rzadkie i zagrożone w skali kraju i regionu (np. Salix lapponum, S. myrtilloides, Betula humilis, Pedicularis sceptrum-carolinum, Liparis loeselii). Na uwagę zasługuje występowanie 41 gatunków, borealnych. Obecność tylko dwóch gatunków antropofitów świadczy o dużej naturalności badanego terenu.
