Viscoelastic characteristics op sugar beet roots

On the base of stress relaxation test for sugar beet root samples the relationships between the state of strain and the stress in time was determined. The experiment consists of two independent stress relaxation tests, which were carried out for samples loaded in the state of uniaxial strain and the state of uniaxial stress. The results of the investigation are presented in the form or time functions of the shear modulus, the bulk modulus and Poissins ratio. It was shown that increase of initial rate of deformation causes the increase of modulus of elasticity of the samples.

W niniejszej pracy w oparciu o test relaksacji naprężeń przedstawiono zależności pomiędzy stanem naprężeń i odkształceń w czasie w próbkach korzeni buraków cukrowych odmian Oktawia i Janus. Dane doświadczalne uzyskano z dwóch niezależnych testów relaksacji naprężeń przeprowadzanych w warunkach stanu jednoosiowego odkształcenia i stanu jednoosiowego naprężenia próbki. W wyniku eksperymentów wyznaczono przebiegi w czasie modułów ścinania, ściśliwości objętościowej i współczynnika Poissona. Stwierdzono tendencję wzrostową modułów sprężystości próbek obu odmian korzeni wraz ze wzrostem prędkości deformacji wstępnej.
