ABSTRACT
Properly projected probe of the TDR apparatus, destined to measurement of moisture in soils, allows to receiving of reflectogram characteristic for effect of the impedance well. A characteristic features of the received reflectogram suggest a construction of the simple detector which estimate propagation time of the testing pulse in area of the probe. The detector makes possible to receive a result of measurement in instantaneous mode without a microprocessor. The modification of the transmission line, relying on introducing of additional nonlinearly of impedance allows to apply of this same detector for calibration process of the TDR apparatus.

Odpowiednio zaprojektowana sonda aparatu TDR, przeznaczonego do pomiaru wilgotności w glebach, pozwala na otrzymanie reflektogramu charakterystycznego dla efektu studni impedancji. Elementy wyróżnione takiego reflektogramu sugerują konstrukcję prostego detektora czasu propagacji impulsu testującego w obszarze czujnikowym sondy. Detektor umożliwia uzyskanie wyniku pomiaru w trybie natychmiastowym i bez obecności układu mikroprocesora. Modyfikacja linii transmisyjnej , polegająca na wprowadzeniu do niej dodatkowej nieciągłości impedancji, umożliwia zastosowanie omawianego detektora do przeprowadzenia procesu kalibracji przyrządu pomiarowego TDR.
