ABSTRACT
Computer method for a reconstruction of granular medium structure and for its quantification has been presented. An algorithm for a virtual structure creation on the basis of grain size distribution and o f porosity data is described. The whole medium can be divided on to a network of single pores where each of them is build up from 4 particles (in 3D) and is characterized by several independent parameters. The porosity of virtual bodies agree well with the real one. Some results concerning the point of contacts distribution inside the mono and polisize media has been presented.

Przedstawiono metodę komputerowej rekonstrukcji struktury ośrodków granularnych na podstawie ich składu granulometrycznego i porowatości. Opisano algorytm tworzenia wirtualnej struktury i określono warunki jej reprezentatywności. Przedstawiono koncepcje pojedynczego poru ośrodka i sieci porów całego ośrodka. Stwierdzono dobrą zgodność otrzymanych wartości porowatości z danymi doświadczalnymi w odniesieniu do ośrodków o składzie piasku i piasku pylastego.
