The present experiments were carried out in the period 1999-2002. Tytanit was used in three different concentrations, i.e. 0.02, 0.04 and 0.08% at three different stages of tulips growth ars Rococo and Yokohama during the vegetation period: I – at the green bud, II – at the green bud, in the beginning of colouring, III – at the green bud, in the beginning of colouring and after heading. A favourable tendency with respect of total yield, marketable yield and circumference above 12 cm after Tytanit application twice at a concentration of 0.08% was observed. Tytanit application in tulip cultivation had no negative effect on the quality of forced flowers.
