The aim of the present research was to evaluate the influence of two foliar fertilizers (Tytanit and Tytoń-Vit) and a preparation from the growth stimulator group (Atonik) on the yield of runner bean (cultivar Piękny Jaś) cultivated in a hop-garden. The results showed positive effects of the preparations applied on some elements of the plant yield structure (number o f pod sets and 1000-seeds weight) and, in consequence, on seed yield. Among the tested preparations, the best results were achieved in the object with Tytanit application. The results confirm the usefulness of the trailing runner bean for the hop-garden constructions. Cultivation of the runner bean "Piękny Jaś" in the hop-garden can be considered as an alternative solution for the cone overproduction or "break" in a many-year cultivation, e.g. for variety replacement.
